Fantastic Pad Thai and Satay Chicken. The food is beautifully prepared and fresh. John is wonderfully welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in the door. We’ve been through a few times now and have been impressed with the quality of food and the service each time. I have a hard time believing a lot of these negative reviews, and suspect they come from entitled, rude customers who weren’t taught any manners. I strongly recommend Papaya Thai to anyone looking for really high quality meals at a very reasonable price.

The restaurant owner is very enthusiastic and talkative. Maybe he noticed that I speak Chinese and said thank you to me in Chinese when I left. That's thoughtful. The food here is not cheap, but the taste is authentic. If you don't mind the price but pursue taste, please come here.

The BEST Thai food I have ever had!! We had 6 dishes shared between 4 of us, and every dish was amazing. Very full of flavour and each unique. John looked after us and was very friendly. Highly recommend the lamb spring rolls!

We tried Papaya Thai Otway for the first time last night. My only regret is that we hadn’t tried it sooner! Best Thai I have ever had…. delicious! We had the Pad Thai, Green Curry and Roti Bread. Everything was really fresh, very generous portions and wonderful customer service. Thank you! We will definitely be repeat customers.

.It’s at the perfect location to stop by after 12 apostles trip, and This is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been. Food is excellent. Every staffs gave beautiful smile to our baby. We were a little skeptical because of the reviews but have no fear. He didn’t presented details of the bill as he calculated without new billing machine system , but it was exact amount we calculated in advance too. Gentleman at the front greeted us and gave us a fond farewell:) We will definitely be back for the next trip ! :)

The food was so tasty, nice, and good environment. The staff is so kind and friendly. I would highly recommend trying Thai food here. It reminds me of my home country's food. I definitely will come back again.
